Lovejoy's attorney wants to interview Arpaio in hopes of proving the Sheriff's office treated the case different from others.
According to the East Valley Tribune, Arpaio refused an interview, so the attorney got a court order forcing Arpaio to talk.
Arpaio's office told the Tribune he hasn't yet received the order, and they'll fight it if they need to. Lovejoy has pleaded not guilty to reckless animal abuse after he left his police dog Bandit in a hot car for 13 hours last summer.
It's not hard to see the truth here. Sheriff Joe goes afer people who need to be taught a lesson. He is a good man and if his office and staff went after this guy who killed his dog, then I know they is good reason to investigate further.
