Arizona 4th in the Nation for Foreclosures

Arizona takes the number 4 spot in the nation when it comes to foreclosures as of March 2008.

Home foreclosures are continuing to climb across the country, and Arizona is right in the thick of it. Arizona foreclosure activity in February was up 6 percent from January, and has more than doubled from February of last year.

One in every 264 households in Arizona received a foreclosure filing during February - the fourth highest rate in the nation.

Across the country, foreclosure filings jumped 60 percent in February compared with the same month last year.

It sure seems like the right time to buy for anyone looking to hit it big within the 2 years. Remember, when there is a drop there will always be a rise.
