Rabid Mountain Lion Attacks Arizona boy on his birthday!

A 10-year-old boy's birthday party became a nightmare when a mountain lion showed up!

Paul Schalow was having an outdoor birthday celebration with his family near Cave Creek, Ariz., on Saturday.Suddenly, a mountain lion approached him from behind."When I saw the lion behind him, my eyes were all looking. Then he looked behind him and that's how he got scared," Schalow's cousin Brittany told NBC affiliate KPNX-TV.

Schalow's uncle shot and killed the lion.Schalow said it was the lion's paw, not his teeth that hurt him."Then everyone started yelling, 'Don't move, don't move,'" Schalow told KPNX-TV. "So it puts its paw on me. Then it puts its mouth on me."Schalow now has to undergo testing because health officials determined the mountain lion had rabies.
