Mesa Fire Captain Dies on Duty

Fire Department calls his death a 'devastating loss' A release from Mesa Fire Department says Captain John Delaney was found "in full cardiac arrest" at his desk Monday afternoon.

Fire personnel worked to resuscitate Capt. Delaney and transported him to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Capt. Delaney will receive full fire department honors. Funeral arrangements are pending.
