Arizona traffic stop...

Authorities say a 39-year-old woman from Belize was arrested in western Arizona after officers found a suitcase filled with more than $300,000 during a traffic stop.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety says one of its officers pulled over a Ford Mustang Saturday night on Interstate 10 about 60 miles east of the California border because the taillights weren't lit.

DPS says an officer noticed a strong smell of marijuana. A search turned up only trace amounts of marijuana, but officers found a suitcase containing $319,066.

DPS says driver Karen Anderson told them only $2,500 was hers and claimed not to know where the rest came from.

Anderson was booked in the La Paz County Jail in Parker for investigation of money laundering.
