APS and D-backs Team Up to Go Green!

The Arizona Diamondbacks wear Sedona Red on the field, but for one week this month, the D-backs are going green.

During the APS Green Home Stand, Thursday, July 23 through Wednesday, July 29, APS will team with the D-backs to help deliver messages of energy savings, efficiency and Green Choice programs to the fans at Chase Field. On hand to help the D-backs go green will be the APS Clown Troupe and The Renewables, a new team of clean energy superheroes who represent five sources of renewable energy: solar, wind, geothermal, hydro and bio-mass.

During each D-backs home game during the APS Green Home Stand, APS will staff booths where fans can take part in fun activities and get information on APS' energy efficiency programs for their homes as well as the latest on our Green Choice programs and rebates. Look for the APS booths in the main concourse and in the APS Renewables Kids Club in the upper level. The APS Green Home Stand will also feature fun giveaways including one free home energy audit per game and energy efficient CFL bulbs to lucky sections each game.
