Phoenix Police say they were called to a vacant southwest home Monday night by observant neighbors who reported seeing suspicious activity.
When officers arrived the suspects had fled, leaving a blue city recycling can in the front of the home. Sitting right on the curb, that bin was filled with bales of pot.
Officers searched for the suspects, but no arrests were made.
The house is located near 42nd Lane and Maldonado just north of Baseline Road.
Police said the investigation would be turned over to the Drug Enforcement Bureau.
