The ostrich lays the largest egg in the world. It contains the equivalent of a dozen or more chicken eggs. Emus lay eggs with a distinctive dark blue color. Male Ostriches and emus do all the brooding and provide protection for young chicks.

The Easter Egg Hunt will be located near the Children’s Play Area and Petting Zoo. To make certain everyone has the best time possible, the activity will be divided according to age group. Children ages 7 and under begin promptly at 1:30p.m., while older kids ages 8 and up begin at 3:30 p.m.

Grey Stafford, Ph.D. is the Director of Conservation and Communications at the Wildlife World Zoo and author of the new pet-training book, " Zoomility". He appears frequently on 3TV with some of the zoo's fascinating animals.

Wildlife World Zoo, which is located at 16501 W. Northern Ave., Litchfield Park, is open 365 days a year, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Daytime admission is $16.99 (plus tax) for adults and $8.99 (plus tax) for children 3 to 12; children 2 and younger get in free.
