A 91 year old man was in an armed confrontation with the Maricopa County SWAT team near the intersection of Alabama and 107th ave. in Sun City.
The elderly man reportedly pulled a hand gun on a new care taker that was tending to him at his home. The elderly man requested to speak to Sheriff Joe Arpaio. The Sheriff says he is enroute to the scene. It apparently was the first day on the job for the caretaker...no doubt they will not be coming back.
Everything ended peacefully after SWAT members entered the home.
