Well it's another great day in Arizona. The temp is close to 82 degrees and there isn't a cloud in the sky...chemtrails yes, clouds no lol
Yesterday I started to notice a lot of yellow jackets around my plants and trees. Today it seems worse and there are a few bees a bout as well.
There was an older man that was stung many times and seriously hurt by a bee attack yesterday. I am told that if bee's start to attack you, the best thing to do is cover your nose and mouth with something and run away as fast as you can. If you get stung in the mouth or throat it will most likely swell to the point where you can't breathe.
I wonder if this warmer weather is a sign of an early hot summer?

DPS Tasers pedestrian with knife on U.S. 60
The Arizona Department of Public Safety received several 911 calls of a pedestrian on the freeway in the area of eastbound U.S. 60 near Alma School Road just before 10 a.m. today.
DPS officers attempted to get the pedestrian to leave the freeway, but he refused, according to DPS spokesman Harold A. Sanders.
Sanders said the man brought out a knife and demonstrated suicidal/homicidal behavior.
Sanders said the officers attempted to convince the man to put down the knife, but when it was obvious he presented a serious danger to himself and others, he was brought under control with the use of the Taser.
The eastbound lanes of U.S. 60 were shut down for a time.

Three people in a truck were nearly swept downriver
Three people in a truck were nearly swept downriver in Camp Verde.
They used their cell phones to call for help.
The people -- all adults -- were on their way back from a basketball game Tuesday night when they took what they thought was a shortcut across the Verde River.
That shortcut got them stuck in fast-moving water.
The fire department was called in to rescue the people.
Crews used rafts to get the stranded people back to dry land.
While the truck had some serious water damage, nobody was hurt.
The truck is still in the river.

Arizona traffic stop...
Authorities say a 39-year-old woman from Belize was arrested in western Arizona after officers found a suitcase filled with more than $300,000 during a traffic stop.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety says one of its officers pulled over a Ford Mustang Saturday night on Interstate 10 about 60 miles east of the California border because the taillights weren't lit.
DPS says an officer noticed a strong smell of marijuana. A search turned up only trace amounts of marijuana, but officers found a suitcase containing $319,066.
DPS says driver Karen Anderson told them only $2,500 was hers and claimed not to know where the rest came from.
Anderson was booked in the La Paz County Jail in Parker for investigation of money laundering.

91 year-old man pulls gun on care taker, asks for Sheriff Joe
A 91 year old man was in an armed confrontation with the Maricopa County SWAT team near the intersection of Alabama and 107th ave. in Sun City.
The elderly man reportedly pulled a hand gun on a new care taker that was tending to him at his home. The elderly man requested to speak to Sheriff Joe Arpaio. The Sheriff says he is enroute to the scene. It apparently was the first day on the job for the caretaker...no doubt they will not be coming back.
Everything ended peacefully after SWAT members entered the home.

Border agent killed in Arizona
YUMA, Ariz., Jan. 20 Mexican authorities Sunday sought the killers of a U.S. Border Patrol agent at the Imperial Sand Dunes near Yuma, Ariz.
The agent was intentionally run down by a Hummer Saturday while laying spike strips about a mile from the Mexican border, The San Diego Union-Tribune reported Sunday.
"The Hummer sped up and swerved toward our agent, killing him," Eric Anderson, a spokesman for the agency's Yuma sector, told the newspaper.
The incident began when agents saw a brown Hummer and a red Ford F-250 pickup crossing from Mexico into the United States about 20 miles west of Yuma.
"We don't know if they were smuggling people or drugs," Anderson said.
After the agent was struck, both vehicles escaped into Mexico. Mexican authorities are cooperating in the search for the suspects, Anderson said.

Arizona fishing outlook is best in 25 years!!!
According to Salt River Project (SRP), the projected runoff from the current snow pack is more than enough to fill Roosevelt Lake – for the first time since the dam was raised in 1996. The tremendous runoff in 2005 almost filled the lake, but was three feet shy at 96-percent full.
“Our most recent runoff forecast is for inflow to exceed the amount necessary to bring Roosevelt Lake to 100 percent capacity,” predicted Mark Hubble, the senior hydrologist with SRP.
Fishery biologists with the Arizona Game and Fish see great things happening this year not just at Roosevelt, but most of the other fishing lakes as well.
“This looks like an historic year in our fisheries, in large part because of the tremendous runoff in 2005 and resulting spawns, but also because of the widespread deep snow pack in the high country we haven’t experienced since at least 1993,” said Fisheries Chief Kirk Young. “The Arizona fishing outlook is the best we’ve seen in 25 years or so.”
Most of the state’s popular high elevation trout lakes should fill-and-spill this year, or have high water levels. Even some ephemeral waters, such as Lower Lake Mary near Flagstaff, should have enough water to be stocked with trout this year.
“In 2005, Lower Lake Mary was transformed from being a large elk meadow into becoming our largest high country trout lake. That could happen again this year,” Young said.
Biologists are also hopeful that the state’s only two natural lakes – Mormon Lake and Stoneman Lake near Flagstaff – will experience significant filling.

Real Estate - Get it now before it's gone!
The real estate market has been hit really hard it seems, which leave a ton of deals waiting for you.
Read this short section about it:
"Although it's impossible to know exactly when we hit the bottom on this price correction, I firmly believe that when the market stabilizes later this year, we'll look back at this winter season as our best buying opportunity in seven years, and wish we bought more foreclosure properties!..." Alexis McGee.

UFC looks like a ok event
Saw an ad for the latest UFC MMA event. I think it looks pretty good. I think the UFC TV show needs some better direction, but I watch it from time to time.
