Our park is getting flooded!

Yay for the rain!

It's so nice to have a change in the weather here in Arizona. It has been raining for close to 8 hours today. Our park is getting flooded and it's so cool to watch it from the windows.

Here is a photo I took about 20 mins. ago:

AZ getting colder!

Living in the central Phoenix area we don't get near as cold as up in Flagstaff or way down south in Tucson, but these last few days have really been cold!

Time to start wearing socks when walking on the tile floor on those early mornings :)

Been looking...

I can't help but think how cool the new Toyota Tacoma's look. I've been told that there are no real differences between the '07 and the '08 Tacoma's. I personally like the look of the cowl hood even though it doesn't do anything, it just looks cool.

I wonder what the word is on how well they handle out in the desert / off road. I'm sure they kick butt like always.

Where to get a great deal on your Glock?

Let me tell you what I did when I bought my Glock...

First off, I noticed that everywhere I went locally, the guns seemed over priced. Call me cheap but I decided to shop around. I went online and found a few places that claimed to have the best deals. After a couple days of research I found one site that backed up their claim. This website is www.TopGlock.com.

The process is simple and easy. You find the gun you want and give them a call at their 800 number. You must first find a local gun seller so that TopGlock.com can delivery your newly purchased gun to them and you pick it up there. The fee charged by the receiving gun store should be around $35. This fee is for them to run your background. So after you have told TopGlock.com what types of guns(s) you want, your wait time is approx. 5-7 days.

I personally had them delivery my gun to Cabela's in Glendale, AZ. I was more than happy with the purchase of my first gun with them, meaning they called me right away when it came in. However, with the purchase of my second gun, Cabela's was not so great. They had my gun for over 4 days before letting me know it was there. Trust me when I say that I called 3 times every day after the first 6 days went by. I was disappointed with Cabela's and the fact that they didn't want to take blame and said how they were doing me a favor anyway! BS!

I'm not saying I'll never go through Cabela's again, I probably will because of their location, but let it be a lesson for you on shopping around for others who will receive a gun for you.

Anyway, call for yourself and see how big the savings are at www.TopGlock.com. and I know the next Glock you buy will be from them. Great overall experience!

Shooting new Glock 26 9mm

Had a great time this past few days shooting with friends and family.

The latest addition to the weaponry was a good looking Glock 26 subcompact 9mm. It comes with 2 10 round clips from the factory which were nice and smooth fitting. We bought two other 15 round clips for it as well.

In addition to the Glock 26, we had a couple of Glock 22 40 Cal.'s with us and 2 Ruger 10/22 rifles for the longer shoots.

We all shoot very well with nice grouping for each gun. I love the round targets that are black and shoot through to neon yellow. I think they are called "see-all" or something close to that. They are peel off stickers which is really nice.

Lot's of fun!

Great weather!

The weather has been so nice these last few days around the Phoenix area. What a nice change of pace from the high double digits we were having for so long!

The air is crisp and clear.
